"BECAUSE I'M FREE"

Being free is walking in what God thinks of me. No longer bound by the opinions of others or society. Clearly understanding who I am and what I was purposed to be. Far from perfect but working daily on my inner me so that I can consistently build upon being free which is the catalyst for loving me.

"I AM WHO I AM"

Simply because I am me, I'm who I was created to be, my past, my present and who I want to be. I'm not anyone else but I'm all three. I'm a work in progress, a destiny. I'm walking in the path that God planned for me. I am who I am without apology. I am who I am because I am free to love me.

"WHAT DO I SEE WHEN I LOOK AT ME?"

I must see beyond what my naked eye can see but envision what I shall BE because I have looked through the lenses that has helped me to see my Inner Me. Through all of my pain, flaws, disappointments, challenges, ups, downs, ins, outs, frustration, impatience, neglect, low-self esteem, doubt, distrust, abuse, molestation, failures, anger, hardened-heart it's sometimes hard to see pass those things that were meant to keep us bound by the enemy. We must know that at the end of the tunnel there is Victory because it was all in God's plan to help me to see my inner me. So What Do I See When I Look At Me? I see that God created me to be a beautiful me!

"THE AUTHENTIC ME"

I'm looking to be free, I say, "free to love me".  In efforts to follow the path that was set for me, I have to be authentic with me! It starts with the reality of accepting me with all of my imperfections and qualities. It's liberty in being free, owning my mistakes that were purposed to bring me closer to my destiny. It's nothing like being authentic with me because it opens the door for me to live unapologetically. Authenticity is merely finding what resonates in me and allowing my actions and words to become congruent with my beliefs and values. Living authentically is not stagnant but a constant shifting and understanding of my inner me. It's about challenging my old beliefs, sorting through my baggage and being determined to live a life that represents truth. It is learning to face my fears and doubts that I may be able to reach deeply within to find out what makes my heart sing and my spirit soar. It's about finding where my authentic self feels the most alive, free and unburdened and having the courage to live from this place of peace.

"THE DIAMOND IN YOU"

God has formed many diamonds but He made only one you. You are unique and valuable! Diamonds are one of the most precious jewels but they can not compare to how God values us as His human creation. As diamonds, our brilliance should illuminate a room and give off a presence that is destined to be remembered.

"THE WOMAN
BEHIND THE MASK"

As women, we tend to wear a kind of mask, a persona that hides our deepest thoughts and inner-most feelings presenting a polished look to the world. This look was designed to bring a distraction to you and who is looking at you. We have been corrupted by society into thinking that we must be perfect when God created us with flaws and imperfections yet we are viewed as beautiful creatures in His eyes.  The mask is merely a layer of cover-up to all of the junk that keep us at a status of "untruth". Everyone's mask is different but yet the circumstances behind the mask may be similar. The mask was meant to give a tight feel to the face so that overtime that uncomfortable feeling of tightness can force us to deal with our dark places. But MY God....when the mask is removed, freedom, elasticity, cleanliness, purity and more is allowed to penetrate through. It's the pivotal point when we realize that all the layers of dirt was clogging our pores, vision, thoughts, esteem, confidence, poise, and view on how to live life to its fullest. More importantly, the mask was the covering that was meant to keep you in bondage to "YOU". It's time to deal with the "Woman Behind The Mask" because there is so much beauty underneath all of the toxic layers that need to be revealed.

PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATIONS

Served as a volunteer mentor/coach to a group of students as they operated a real business for the day, encouraging students to communicate and collaborate with one another, while thinking critically and getting creative. As mentor/coach, those "ah ha" moments arised as I helped the students discover the value of themselves, their education, and their future beyond the classroom.

REAL
LIFE

Served as a volunteer mentor/coach for a Real Life financial literacy forum intended to help students gain knowledge on the importance that financial decisions will play in their lives as young adults. The goal of the Real Life financial literacy forum is to inspire students to appreciate the key issues surrounding personal finance and the importance of getting good advice as you make decisions.
